I just want to take a moment to wish everyone a safe and happy 2019. 2018 was certainly a busy year and full of changes. We appreciate everyone’s support and patience while we make sure we are providing the best possible care to those we serve.

One department has recently had some major changes. Benjamin Glover was promoted to the Director of Nursing and is doing a great job. Benjamin started working here as a Nursing Assistant while he was completing his education to become a Registered Nurse. He later moved into the role of Assistant Director of Nursing and in November he transitioned into his new role.

Beverly Farvour also started working here in November 2018 as our new Assistant Director of Nursing. She comes to us with over 33 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. She also serves a dual role as the Unit Manager on Heritage Hall.

Vicki Green has been promoted in December to the Unit Manager for Lincoln Lane. Vicki has a great track record of caring for the residents on Lincoln Lane as an LPN. Please join me in congratulating these folks in their new role. I feel certain we will see positive changes with their leadership.

In 2019, we plan on remodeling at least one resident room per month. We will do our best not to inconvenience anyone and respect everyone’s privacy. I hope everyone enjoys the updated look.
