Short-Term Therapy Success

Lonnie was admitted to our facility following a brief hospital stay. Upon admission, he was evaluated by both physical and occupational therapy, and a personalized plan of care was developed to support his recovery. Initially, Lonnie required assistance with bed mobility, transfers, walking, and activities of daily living. Through his hard work and commitment, along with the support of our therapy team, Lonnie made steady progress toward greater independence. He became independent with transfers and wheelchair mobility and significantly reduced the level of assistance needed for daily tasks, such as dressing. Lonnie will continue as a long-term resident at our facility, and we have truly enjoyed working with him. Our team will remain available to support him and address any needs that may arise.
