Short-Term Therapy Success

Older adult woman working with physical therapist in the gym.

April H. was admitted to our facility following a brief hospital stay for an infection, which ultimately resulted in a new knee replacement. Upon admission, she was evaluated by both physical and occupational therapy services. April was very weak but motivated to get up and start working with therapy as she wanted to get home as soon as possible. She required assistance with mobility and selfcare. Putting forth lots of hard work, April was able to achieve her goal of previous independence and return home with her husband. April was a great rehab patient, and we look for her to have great success at home.
