Short-Term Therapy Success

Older adult woman working with physical therapist in the gym.

Mr. S. was admitted after a brief stay in the hospital resulting from increased weakness. He received initial evaluations by physical, occupational, and speech therapy. In the beginning, Mr. S. was very weak and required assistance to perform all functional mobility and ADLs. He worked with physical therapy on increasing his functional mobility, including bed mobility and transfers as well as spent time with occupational therapy working to increase ADLs such as personal hygiene and dressing. While Mr. S. made great strides with therapy, he ultimately decided to stay at our facility long term. We are so glad to Mr. S. has decided to become part of our ENRC family.
