Short-Term Success Story: Mrs. Katie!

success story written in white chalk on a black chalkboard which has a purple wooden border.

Mrs. Katie was admitted to our facility after a recent hospital stay. Upon admission, Katie was evaluated by physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Initially she required assistance with all mobility including rolling in bed, sitting up at the edge of bed, and standing up to get in her wheelchair. She also required assistance with all activities of daily living. As her stay with us progressed, so did Mrs. Katie. Upon discharging home, she was able to perform mobility and daily living skills with someone there “just in case” she required assistance. We are so glad Mrs. Katie chose Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab to assist her on her rehab journey and love that she was able to discharge home successfully. Great job, Katie!
