Short-Term Therapy Success

Older adult woman working with physical therapist in the gym.

Robert E. was admitted to our facility following a recent stroke. Upon admission, he required assistance with all activities of daily living and mobility. He began physical therapy to improve bed mobility, transfers, and balance; occupational therapy to address dressing, toileting, and upper extremity movement; and speech therapy to regain speech and language skills. After several weeks of therapy, Robert became independent in his daily activities and mobility. He continues to make strong progress in speech therapy. Robert is a joy to work with and will remain at our facility as he continues his recovery.
