Short-Term Therapy Success: Mr. Dowell

Mr. Dowell was admitted to our facility following a brief hospital stay. Upon arrival, he was evaluated by both physical and occupational therapy assessing for a decrease in functional mobility and ADLs. Throughout his stay Mr. Dowell participated in exercises, walking, and balance activities to improve his functional mobility. The harder he worked in therapy, the more improvements he saw. Mr. Dowell ultimately reached a level of independence and was able to return home to the community. He was a joy to have in rehab and we wish him well back at home.
