Short-Term Therapy Success Story!
William S. admitted to Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehab to work with our therapy team. He suffered from a previous stroke and wanted to increase his functional mobility. Upon admission, William was a Max Assist of 1 to 2 people, which motivated him to participate in physical and occupational therapy as he wanted to return home with as little assistance as possible. During his stay, he was able to begin taking steps with a rolling walker and an assist of two people by his side. By discharge, he was able to do things such as transfer using only a sliding board and standby assistance. William was able to return home with his family requiring minimal assistance with his care.
Great job William, we are so proud of you!
