success story written on chalkboard with purple wood border

Katie Grace was admitted due to a recent hospitalization with increased weakness. Upon admission, she was seen by physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Katie participated with physical therapy to increase her ability to get in and out of bed as well as strengthen her walking abilities. She required assistance for all mobility and to get out of bed when she admitted and by the end of her stay, was able to get out of bed independently and walk a functional distance. Occupational therapy worked on her bathroom routine as well as improved her ability to get dressed independently. Katie worked with Speech therapy to improve her memory and safety awareness. Katie Grace was able to return to an assisted living facility and live independently. We are so proud of you Miss Katie!
